How much and how long is shipping to the US?

Complimentary 4-7 days standard shipping is offered on all orders shipped within the United States. If you live in Alaska or Hawaii, your shipping charges will be calculated at checkout.

How do preorders work?

When you place a preorder on our website, you'll receive an email confirmation noting the estimated ship date for your order.

Pre-orders can be cancelled at any time before your order is ready to be shipped. Your card will only be charged once the pre-order ships. 

How do I take care of the MEIA bag?

The MEIA backpack can handle a lot. If needed, spot clean any areas with water and a soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, and always test a small area of the bag first to avoid damage. Please do not put the bag in the washer as this will damage the metals.

What are the dimensions and weight of the backpack?

This backpack is 17" high, 12" wide, and 6" deep. The backpack weighs 2.6 lbs, and the detachable clutch with crossbody straps weighs about 1.3 lb. The backpack, clutch and straps together weigh about 3.9 lbs.

What's the largest sized laptop that can fit in this bag?

The largest laptop that can fit in this bag can have dimensions: 14" tall by 10" wide by 16.5" diagonal.

You'll find the laptop compartment in the back, where it's separated from the main compartment for easy access. Don't miss it, as it uses a black waterproof zipper lining!

Can this bag fit a 16" MacBook Pro?

Yes! The 16" MacBook Pro with dimensions 14"W x 9.8"D x 0.7"H will fit in the back laptop compartment, where it will be a snug fit.

Note that the laptop compartment is separate from the main compartment - this is so it's easier to get your electronics out for work & airport security!

What's the largest sized water bottle that can fit in the side pockets?

The side pockets can fit water bottles up to 2.8" in diameter. For example, a S'well 17oz bottle.

Note that side pockets have a very snug fit for your bottles. This is to prevent bottles from slipping out!

Does the backpack come with the detachable clutch and crossbody straps?

Yes, all orders on the MEIA Work Bag includes the backpack, detachable clutch, and crossbody straps.

Are there other colors available for the MEIA bag?

Our Work Bag is currently available in a classic black with gold hardware, along with our newly released Sapphire Blue.

Is this bag waterproof or water-resistant?

This bag is not waterproof, but it is water-resistant! It can handle light drizzle, but if it's pouring, we recommend storing an umbrella in one of the side pockets.

Can this bag fit under an airplane seat, and is it considered a personal item?

Yes! We took this bag on domestic and international travels when testing its functionality and had no problem using it as a personal item and placing it under the airplane seat.

We always recommend checking with your airline their specific size requirements as many have their own rules for personal items and carry-ons.

What's your returns & exchanges policy?

To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused and in its original packaging with polybag, packing bubbles, and hang tag intact to be eligible for a full refund.

If you would like a return, we offer a 30-days return & exchange policy for any unused products from the day your order was received. Within this period, you'll be eligible to receive a full refund, excluding any shipping and/or return shipping charges. 

A full refund will be provided if customers choose to purchase their own return shipping label. If you select to return your order with a prepaid UPS label, please note that a $20 shipping & handling cost for the return will be deducted from your refund.

Is there a warranty on your bags?

Yes! Our bags come with a 1-year warranty against any product defects that impact the usability of the bag.

This warranty covers products purchased from our website with original order details and does not cover products purchased through an unauthorized seller or third-party marketplace.

If you experience an issue with your bag that's due to a production error and not from damages caused by an accident, neglect, normal wear & tear, or damages caused by another party, please contact us here for assistance. We'll do our best to help.

How can I get replacement crossbody straps for the clutch?
